Having realised how crazily quickly Rowan is growing up, I've got my heart set on a video camera to record some of the memories we'll otherwise lose. However, I'll never convince David to let me have one unless he's sure we're getting the right one, so, we need some help and recommendations. I guess we're looking for something fairly small with a decent battery life, but don't know what else we're looking for...
Help anyone?

Recording to a memory card?
Although Joe's recorded direct to a DVD, I suspect that has a battery life 'hit' attached with it, so I'd be happy if it recorded straight onto a memory card.
