In October 2006 (I think), at the Linux Expo in London, I sat my LPI level 2 exam. I think I did two modules, but can't remember (see here)
After a few months of not hearing anything from 'them' I thought perhaps I'd failed, or someone had lost something.... either way, I'd have to try again eventually.
Then, today, Chris told me the following on IRC
<chrisp> GingerDog, I have your LPI 2 certificate sat on my desk <GingerDog> oh wow; i didn't know i'd passed <GingerDog> i did wonder what happened after i took it at the expo <chrisp> GingerDog, you probably want to change your address from $PREVIOUSEMPLOYEER <GingerDog> chrisp: i would, if i knew how.... <chrisp> GingerDog, congrats btw <GingerDog> to be honest, i'd just assumed i'd silently failed @-/
So that ends one mystery!
(Much to my annoyance when writing this blog post, I managed to press ctrl+r instead of ctrl+t when checking a link... and had to type everything in again.... grr grr)

Congratulations
Congratulations!
I keep rescheduling my LPI202 exam - seeing that you've passed will give me the incentive to finally revise and take it.
Are you planning on going any further?
Shouldn't that be $PREVIOUSPREVIOUSEMPLOYER?
Tom.
Yes!
Well, I'm not sure if I can call myself my own employer...
I'm not sure whether I'll go any further - I'm not sure if I do enough sysadmin on a day-to-day basis to give me the skillset necessary for level 3 - although I've not looked at it's contents - so it may be worthwhile for me to take it.
Well Done!
I keep meaning to take my 102 so I can get my Level 1 certificate and move on to Level 2....
