Finally, on Friday, we moved house. It went pretty much like clockwork.
We started packing about a week before we thought we'd move, so Sue's removals just had to carry and transport. To give them credit, they were very quick and organised, and the physical move itself happened without hitch. Thankfully, they were also quite understanding when I failed to sign the cheque to them, and they had to come back on Saturday afternoon.
So, Saturday and Sunday saw the "normal" thing of assembling furniture and the dog house (chateaux mongrel), unpacking boxes, wondering how the heating works, and wishing we had internet access. (There is one wifi network in range, but it's WPA encrypted :-( ).
We haven't yet got any curtains up in the house, so if there are any dirty old men around, they've probably already had an eye full. (Fish net curtains are illegal).
This morning, after running the mongrels around Bromsgrove, I cycled to work (Bromsgrove - Redditch) which makes a nice change. I wonder how long before someone figures out that allowing me to store my bike in the office results in a trail of mud/water from the front door?
